Although the race location in Limburg is not part of the Ardennes it is considered the opening race of the Ardennes Week.
Over 250 kms from Maastricht to Berg en Terblijt riders go through in this sawtooth profile. Over 30 bergs where Cauberg and Kruisberg are the signs of identity of Amstel Gold Race
