CF | Frequently Asked Questions
How does it work?
You can create teams starting from 10 days before the start of each race and until the start date of the race (depending on available information). You'll have 5000 credits to select exactly 9 riders to participate. Once the competition has started, no team rider can be changed.
How do points work?
In each race you compete for points from the real position of our riders in the different rankings
You can order the riders of your team as you wish. This order will affect the multiplying factor to be applied to each rider. The resulting score will be used to untie
Only one account per person is allowed. If duplicities are detected, Cycling Fantasy will subtract the points obtained to both accounts. If the player persist in having multiple accounts, they can be banned.Scores by stage classification

Tie-break
Tie-breaker in a single competition classification
To untie, riders' order will be taken into account. In My team, in the Team selection page, press for some seconds and pull up and down to order your riders. If you tie to CF points with another user, this factor will be decisive. The first of your team will multiply his points x1, the second x 0.9, the third x0.8, as follows:
This weighted points are only to untie and are not added to any classification. If tie persists, the team with a better ranked rider in the general classification of the competition will win. Finally, if the tie still persists, the team created earlier will win.
1º | x1 |
2º | x0.9 |
3º | x0.8 |
4º | x0.7 |
5º | x0.6 |
6º | x0.5 |
7º | x0.4 |
8º | x0.3 |
9º | x0.2 |
Tie-breaker in a combined classification
In the event of a tie on points in combined classifications, whether first level (UWT, WWT, .Pro, CX) or second level (Pavés, Ardennes, Three Grand Tours, etc), the user with the best result in one of the competitions who score for that ranking goes first. If the tie persists, the positions in all the races that are part of the combined clasification are added, and the user with a lower result goes first.

XP points
XP points are obtained by participating, adding good results and above all getting badges. Unlike the other rankings per season, XP points accumulate throughout the player's life. Depending on your position in the different rankings you get points as shown in the table. These points grant a level to the player that corresponds to a role in the peloton. As you get points you discover and level up.

Riders
Cycling Fantasy takes into account the results of the riders in all the World Tour and ProsSeries races, as well as the World Championships, the European Championships and the Olympic Games.
How are riders rankings calculated?
Rider rankings add all the Cycling Fantasy points earned by cyclists during the last 24 months. In the MVR ranking (Most Valuable Rider) all points are counted, while in the specialty rankings, these points are segmented by where they were scored (general classification, one-day classics, flat, hilly, mountain, time trial and cobblestones). The points obtained in .Pro competitions count half (x0.5) of those obtained in WordTour races for the rider rankings.
How are rider prices calculated?
The prices are calculated according to the Cycling Fantasy points obtained by the cyclists during the last 24 months, to avoid distortions caused by long-term injuries. This period may vary slightly, depending on when the update is performed.

Clubs
Clubs are associations of users composed by a maximum of 20 members. Clubs compete against other clubs.
You can join a club by accepting an invitation from its captain (if you receive one), or you can found your own club and invite other users.
You can only be member of one club at a time. So, if you are already in a club, you must leave it before you found your own club or accept an invitation.
Clubs with duplicated users will be sanctioned with points lossCompetitions among clubs
Club classification awards the same trophies as the individual classification, with the exception of stage victories and secondary classification jerseys. These trophies are reflected in the club's profile. There is also an annual WT and .Pro and combined classification of monuments, pavés, Ardennes, three grand tours and world championships (also Olympic Games in Olympic year).
Club scores are generated by adding the points obtained by the first 3 members of each club in the final classification of each race. If the club wins a trophy, the 3 users who have contributed will receive a miniature trophy for their profile.
In turn, stage victories are fought in the same way, by adding the points generated by the first three members of each club in a stage.
Competition within the Club
In the club view you can see who has been the best of the club in each race. Also, you can see a statistical summary about the users who have contributed the most to the club's results.
In all user ratings, a new club filter appears to see the scores of your club members, in addition to the classic friend filter.
Countries
Countries bring together all users who have a specific country selected in the user profile, with no maximum number of members. Countries compete against other countries.
You can choose the country you want, but you can only have one nationality at a time.
Competitions between countries
The country ranking awards the same trophies as the club rankings. There are also annual WT and .Pro and combined rankings of monuments, pavés, Ardennes, three grand tours and world championships (also Olympic Games in Olympic year).
Trophies are distributed to the first 3 countries classified in each competition (instead of the 10 for individual and club competitions).
The scores of the countries are generated by adding the points obtained by the first 3 members of each country in the final classification of each race. If the country wins a trophy, the 3 users who have contributed will receive a miniature trophy for their profile.
Country filter
Now, in all user rankings a new country filter appears to see the scores of the members of your country, in addition to the classic friend and club filters.
Jerseys
You can collect jerseys that will be displayed in the closet, within your user profile. Additionally, you can wear one of these jerseys from your wardrobe, which will be displayed next to your name in all rankings and in chat.
As you can see in the store, there are three types of jerseys, and some are rarer than others.
· National jerseys are unlimited.· Actual team jerseys are unlimited, but only current season jerseys can be purchased. With the change of season, old jerseys are no longer on the market.· Historical jerseys are rarer when more expensive:500 XPCoins | 100 Jerseys |
