In this case, we focus on Gent-Wevelgem a.k.a. ' the 6th Monument '.

Stage Profile
After E3 Saxo Classic, riding under the rain and doing a brilliant performance, the peloton have to front facing 'the 6th Monument'. Over 250 kms the bunch will ride from Ieper to Wevelgem. Firsts 150km are flat and the difficulty of this race is concentrated in the next 70kms with cobbled sectors and some bergs. Last 30 kms turns flat again waitting for a selected bunch sprint....or not! Lasts editions we saw some different ways to win.

Due to the stage profile we can find more sprinters in Gent-Wevelgem than the other flandrien races. Mixing sprinters and stronng classics roulers we find 5 powerfull teams than the rest. Obviusly they want to get 'the 6th monument' under control. For exemple:
