Another preview from TOL Club to CyclingFantasy coaches!

In this case we focus on Giro d'Italia. First of the 3 weeks races of the season '24.
As usual, Giro '24 shows a lovely hard profile giving to riders chances to do great performances. With a 70km ITT again!

First of all, we need to know the weather forecast. If its difficult to predict it for a one day races imagine for a 3 weeks race. So ,will see day by day.

Stages

Welcome to La Grande Partenza! Only 140km stage. 2nd half of it (around Vert. meters:1851) peloton go to Torino's ending. Colle della Maddalena (7.1km-6.6%) and Bivio di San Vito (1.5km-8.6%) will be the judges of the race.
Gc contenders and puncheurs will fight for la maglia rosa.

Like stage1, 2nd half of the stage (around Vert. meters:2310) peloton go to Santuario de Oropa's (11.8km-6.1%) uphill ending.
Gc contenders and climbers will fight for the win.

Over 165km stage from Novara to Fossano sprinters and puncheurs will fight for the win

Italian proud! A little Milano Sanremo stage. Capo Mele (1.8km-4.4%) will be the judge of the stage this time. Sprinters and puncheurs will fight for the win.

Under 180km stage from Genova to Lucca sprinters will fight for the win.

Viva Italia! A little Strade Bianche stage. 3 sterrato sectors ( around 10km ) .
Sprinters and puncheurs will fight for the win.

40km ITT stage. Flat up to Perugia uphill ending (6.6km-4.4%). TT speciallists and GC contenders will fight for the win.

Over 150km stage, peloton will ride from Spoleto to Prati di Tivo's (14.8km-6.1%) uphill ending. With a Vert. meters:3658

We love Pizza! Over 210km stage from Avezzano to Napoli sprinters and puncheurs will fight for the win. 10km to finish Posillipo (3.2km-4.4%) will be the judge of the stage.

Over 140km stage, peloton will ride from Pompei to Bocca della Selva's (14.8km-6.1%) uphill ending. With a Vert. meters:3029

Under 210km stage from Foiano di val Fortore to Francavilla al mare sprinters will fight for the win.

Over 190km stage from Martinsicuro to Fano sprinters and puncheurs will fight for the win. 15km to finish Monte Giove (1.2km-9.2%) will be the judge of the stage.

Under 180km stage from Riccione to Cento sprinters will fight for the win.

32km ITT stage. Flat from Castiglione delle Stiviere
to Desenzano del Garda. TT speciallists and GC contenders will fight for the win.

Over 220km stage, peloton will ride from Manerba del Garda to Mottolino's (4.6km-7.7%) uphill ending. With a Vert. meters:5724

Over 200km stage, peloton will ride from Livigno to Monte Pana's (6.5km-6.3%) uphill ending. With a Vert. meters:4260
At 1st half of the stage riders will meet Passo dello Stelvio (19.6km-7.4%) the roof of Giro'24 with 2800m altitude.

Under 160km stage. 2nd half of it (around Vert. meters:3200) peloton go to Sappada's ending. Cima Sappada (7.3km-5.3%) will be the judge of the stage.

185km stage. 2nd half of it (around Vert. meters:4500) peloton go to Bassano del Grappa's ending. Monte Grappa (18.2km-8.1%) will be the judge of the stage.

Starlist
One of the big moments of the season has arrived. Giro is the first 3 weeks race of '24. It is the riders time to wear la maglia rosa, la maglia ciclamino and la maglia azzurra. La maglia bianca is mentioned a part. Lot of young talented riders will meet in this editon, the age average is 27 years old. Last time was in 1999.
The starlist of 107th Giro d'Italia is plenty of climbers, TT specialists and sprinters.
