The weather forecast during the race will be more cloudy than sunny. With a moderate wind around 10km/h and a low probability to rain although the humidity turns around 70-80%

' La Classicissima ' starts on 16th March at 10.15 (CET) from Pavia to Via di Roma, Sanremo, after 288kms.

The race has the same profile as the last 3 years. Where in the last 60 km over 5 chained climbs all the tactics, emotions and nerves will be concentrated. Especially in the Poggio, the last climb, where the race usually ends up exploding.

The starlist is pretty powerfull and there are no one favourite. Some teams will manage and control the race during last climbs. For exemple:
