Another preview from TOL Club to CyclingFantasy coaches!

In this case we focus on Tour de France a.k.a. Le Tour. Second of the 3 weeks races of the season '24.
As usual, Le Tour '24 shows a lovely hard profile giving to riders chances to do great performances. This edition includes 60km ITT and a hard sterrato stage.

Weather Forecast

First of all, we need to know the weather forecast. If its difficult to predict it for a one day races imagine for a 3 weeks race. So ,will see day by day.

Stages

Welcome to Le Grande Depart! This edition firsts 4 stages will start from Italian territory. Over 205km a mid mountain stage with Vert. meters:3821 from Firenze to Rimini's flat ending. Puncheurs, Grimpeurs and CG contenders will fight for the yellow jersey.

Over 200km stage from Cesenatico to Bologna ( 2 laps circuit ) GC contenders and puncheurs will fight for the win. The circuit includes Côte de San Luca (1.9km - 10.4%) and Monte Albano (1km - 5.4%) who will be the judges of the stage

The largest stage of this edition. Around 230km stage from Piacenza to Torino sprinters will fight for the win.

Under 140km high mountain stage with Vert. meters:3904 from Pinerolo to Valloire's downhill ending peloton will meet Col du Galibier (22.9km - 5.1%) who will be the judge of the stage. Grimpeurs and CG contenders will fight for the win

Under 180km stage from Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne to Saint-Vulbas sprinters will fight for the win.

Another flat stage. Under 165km stage from Mâcon to Dijon sprinters will fight for the win.

25km of a lilttle bit hilly ITT stage form Nuits-Saint-Georges to Gevrey-Chambertin. ITT specialists and GC contenders will fight for the win

176km of sawtooth stage profile from Semur-en-Auxois to Colombey-les-Deux-Eglises strong spinters and puncheurs will fight for the win

Under 200km around Troyes peloton will ride through 14 sterrato sectors with a 32km total distance. Rouleurs and strong sprinters will fight for the win

Under 190km stage from Orléans to Saint-Amand-Montrond sprinters will fight for the win.

Over 210km mid mountain stage from Évaux-les-Bains to Le Lioran where Col de Pertus (4.5km - 8.2%) and Col de Font de Cère (3.4km - 5.5%) will be the judges of the stage. Puncheurs, Grimpeurs and GC contenders will fight for the win

Under 205km stage from Aurillac to Villeneuve-sur-Lot's flat ending sprinters will fight for the win.

A little bit hilly 165km stage from Agen to Pau's flat ending. Rouleurs, puncheurs and sprinters will fight for the win

Under 155km high mountain stage, peloton will ride from Pau to Pla d'Adet (10.6km - 8%) uphill ending. With a Vert. meters:4050
Gc contenders and grimpeurs will fight for the win.

'The Queen Stage' of this edition. Under 200km high mountain stage with Vert. meters:5071 peloton will ride from Loudenvielle to Plateau de Beille (15.7km - 7.8%) uphill ending. Gc contenders and grimpeurs will fight for the win.

Under 190km stage from Gruissan to Nîmes sprinters will fight for the win.

Under 180km mid mountain stage from Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux to Superdévoluy (3.9km - 5.7%) uphill ending. Puncheurs, Grimpeurs and GC contenders will fight for the win

Around 180km mid mountain stage from Gap to Barcelonnette's flat ending. Puncheurs, rouleurs and GC contenders will fight for the win

Around 145km high mountain stage with Vert. meters:4512 peloton will ride from Embrun to Isola 2000 (16.1km - 7.1%) uphill ending.
In the middle of the stage the bunch will meet the roof of TdF '24. Cime de la Bonette around 2800m altitude.

Under 135km high mountain stage with a Vert. meters:4752 peloton will ride from Nice to Col de la Couillole (15.8km - 7.3%) uphill ending.
Gc contenders and grimpeurs will fight for the win.

Due to Olympic Game Paris '24 will be the first time on Le Tour 's history not Champs Elysées ending. In this case, last stage is under 35km hilly ITT from Monaco to Nice. ITT specialists and CG contenders will fight for the win.

Starlist

One of the big moments of the season has arrived. Le Tour is the second 3 weeks race of '24. It is the riders time to wear le maillot à pois, le maillot vert, le maillot blanc and le maillot jaune.
The starlist of 111th Tour de France is plenty of grimpeurs, TT specialists and sprinters.
There are 5 balanced and powerfull teams than the rest. Obviusly they want to get Le Tour under control. For exemple:
