Race analysis, favourites, and predictions for Paris - Tours Elite 2025

The French racing calendar comes to an end this Sunday with Paris - Tours Elite, one of the country’s most prestigious and historic classics. First held in 1896, the race was traditionally known as “the sprinters’ classic”, but in recent years it has added several climbs and unpaved vineyard paths in the final part, making it more unpredictable and giving it a slight Paris-Roubaix feel.

Route

This year, the race has slightly modified its finish. The finish line is now located on Boulevard Béranger in Tours, bringing it a couple of kilometres closer to the last climb. In total, the race covers 212 km with 1,200 meters of elevation gain, featuring nine vineyard paths and nine categorised climbs, all concentrated in the final 70 kilometres.
