Race analysis, favourites, and predictions for Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain Men 2025
Welsh cyclist Geraint Thomas (400), winner of the 2018 Tour de France and one of the most charismatic riders in the international peloton over the past two decades, will retire from competition next Sunday, September 7. For his farewell, the Welshman could not have chosen a more symbolic setting: it will be in Cardiff, his hometown, during the final stage of the 2025 Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain, in what is expected to be a massive tribute from the crowd.
Route
Of the six stages that make up the most important men’s race in the United Kingdom, the first three are the flattest and are expected to end in sprints, while the last three are more undulating and will decide the general classification, especially the fifth, which finishes at the top of The Tumble – Y Tymbyl (5.5 km at 7.3%).
