Sport Vlaanderen-Baloise is a Belgian team of UCI ProTeam category.
The general manager is Christophe Sercu and the sporting directors are Walter Planckaert and Hans De Clercq. Its top sponsors are Topsport Vlaanderen, a project of the Flemish government to support athletes in that region, and Baloise, an insurance company.
The team was created in 1994 under the name Vlaanderen 2002-Eddy Merckx at the initiative of the Belgian Flemish community. Over the years the name of the team changed depending on who was its main sponsor. In 2001 it was the temporary work company T-ITER who sponsored it, in 2005, Jacques chocolates and from 2008 to 2016 the company Topsport Vlaanderen. In 2017 it adopted the current name. They compete with bicycles from the Eddy Merckx brand.
