The UAE Team Emirates is a professional team from the United Arab Emirates, formerly known as Lampre-Merida with an Italian license.
The Lampre team was created in its current form in 1999, although it has its origins in the team that existed from 1990 to 1996. It has been part of the top cycling division since its creation and in 2005 it integrated into the ProTour, by merging with Saeco.

In late 2016, it was announced that the team would change its location and its traditional name to UAE Abu Dhabi.
