Laurent Jalabert was one of the great cyclists of the 1990s. Winner of a Vuelta a España in 1995, Jalabert was a specialist in week-long races, and his palmarès includes 3 Paris-Nice, 1 Vuelta al País Vasco, 1 Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, and 1 Tour de Romandie. Additionally, Jalabert also won a Milano-Sanremo and a Giro di Lombardia. He was the French national champion in 1997.
