TotalEnergies is a French team. Created in 2000 under the name Bonjour, it was renamed Brioches La Boulangère between 2003 and 2004, Bouygues Telecom from 2005 to 2008, and BBox Bouygues Telecom in 2009 and 2010. From 2011 to 2015, it was called Team Europcar, and between 2016 and April 2019, it was known as Direct Énergie.
The team was created and is managed by Jean-René Bernaudeau, founder of the Vendée U team, from which many of the team's cyclists come.
