Turkey hands out many CF points
With the strong emotions that spring left us still in the body, now the Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey and to participate in the advertising campaign of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is not very appetaising, really. However, Cycling Fantasy does not stop, and since it is a World Tour race, it will score exactly the same as the other stage races, not more, not less.
Last year, the best possible team could reach 996 points, a not insignificant figure for the ranking of the season. If we play intelligently it can catapult us into top10 positions.
This edition of the Tour of Turkey consists of 6 stages, of which 4 are likely to finish in a bunch sprint, so it will be necessary to get a lot of fast men. Sam Bennet (1200) was the MVR of last edition and has confirmed his participation. Other good sprinters that are already in the startlist are Caleb Ewan (1200), Alvaro Jose Hodeg Chagui (1000), and Fabio Jakobsen (800), but many more are expected.
This season, the Tour of Turkey has been advanced in the calendar, from October to April. So, just six months ago the Spaniard Eduard Prades (600) took the overall. For now, neither him nor Alexei Lutsenko (600) or Nathan Haas (800), who completed the podium, are in the startlist.
