A new circuit in the CX World Cup
The Belgian town of Maasmechelen hosts this Sunday the fourth round of the Cyclocross World Cup, and it does so by presenting a new circuit that gets in the Hoge Kempen National Park area, where lakes and hills abound.
This will be the first race of the 2022-2023 Cyclocross World Cup to be held in Belgium, so the event features the best field so far this season.
Women's Race favorites
The race represents the debut of Marianne Vos (1200) in a World Cup 2022-2023 event and, along with her, Fem Van Empel (1200), Denise Betsema (1200), Puck Pieterse (1200), Annemarie Worst (1000), Ceylin Del Carmen Alvarado (1000), Inge Van Der Heijden (1000), Shirin Van Anrooij (1000) and Kata Blanka Vas (800) are the main candidates to get the win.
Men's Race Favorites
Eli Iserbyt (1200), Michael Vanthourenthout (1200), Lars Van der Haar (1200), Quinten Hermans (1200), Laurens Sweeck (1000), Daan Soete (1000), Niels Vandeputte (800), Jens Adams (800) or Kevin Kuhn (800) are some of the top names for the men's race.
