A paradise for sprinters

The Tour of Britain starts this Sunday, and for 8 days, several of the world's best cyclists will face off in a race that offers many opportunities for sprinters. Specifically, of the 8 stages that make up the race, the first 6 are mostly flat and seem destined for sprint finishes, while the overall classification will be decided in the final weekend, in two stages with hilly profiles.

Favorites

Jumbo-Visma presents the strongest team on paper, with two of the fastest men in the start list, Olav Kooij (1000) and Wout Van Aert (1200). Fernando Gaviria (800), Sam Bennet (600), Milan Fretin (200), Max Kanter (400), Luke Lamperti (200), and Ethan Vernon (400) are also sprinters looking for stage victories.

For the two final stages and the GC battle, Wout Van Aert (1200), Thomas Pidcock (800), Tobias Halland Johannessen (600), Stephen Williams (200), Ide Schelling (400), Nils Politt (200), Rasmus Tiller (200), Roger Adrià (200), and last year's winner, Gonzalo Serrano (400), are some of the main favorites.
