Cycling party in London
RideLondon is a three-day cycling festival that has been held in London since 2013. The event, which includes amateur races over various distances and a popular bike ride through the streets of central London, has its flagship event in the RideLondon Classique, Women's WorldTour category race since 2016. After the cancellation of the 2020 and 2021 editions due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, in 2022 the RideLondon Classique will be held again and it does so with a new format, going from a one-day race to an event composed of three stages.
Route
All three stages have profiles with little positive slope and it is possible that we will see several sprints, although the first two stages include small climbs and ramps in the final circuits that can select the group.
Favorites
The sprinter-suited route has attracted the majority of the fast women in the international peloton, so we are faced with a star-studded start list: Marianne Vos (1200), Emma Norsgaard (1000), Lotte Kopecky (1000), Lorena Wiebes (1000), Elisa Balsamo (1000), Marta Bastianelli (800), Sofia Bertizzolo (800), Chiara Consonni (600), Alice Barnes (600), Chloe Hosking (600) and Chantal Blaak (800) are some of the main cyclists who will take the start.
