De Panne awaits its two sprints
The Classic Brugge-De Panne is one of the most important days for sprinters of the year. After abandoning its traditional three-day format in 2018, known as the Three Days of De Panne (Driedaagse van De Panne in Dutch), the race has established itself in both the men's and women's WorldTour as one of the most anticipated races for top sprinters.
Routes
Both the men's and women's races feature completely flat routes, with the main challenge being the passages through De Moeren, a famous area where strong winds can cause splits in the peloton.
The men's race on Wednesday covers 197 km and includes three laps of the final circuit, which features the passage through De Moeren, while the women's race on Thursday totals 152 km with two laps of the same circuit.
