December 26 Means Gavere
For the fourth consecutive year, the Cyclo-cross World Cup event in Gavere takes place on December 26. A date that has already become a Christmas classic, regardless of the day of the week it falls on.
Course
Mud is often a key feature on the Gavere circuit, and riders frequently have to dismount and run for significant sections of the course. It’s a very demanding track that pushes cyclists’ endurance to the limit.
Women's Race: Favorites
Fem Van Empel (1200) is expected to make her return in Gavere. Alongside her, Lucinda Brand (1000), Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado (1200), Puck Pieterse (1200), Zoe Backstedt (600), Marie Schreiber (800), and Kata Blanka Vas (800) are the main favorites.
Men's Race: Favorites
