Eibar moves up a category
During the month of May, all Spanish races in the top two categories of women's world cycling (WWT and .Pro) have taken place. This period of the calendar will come to an end this Sunday with the Gran Premio Ciudad de Eibar, which in its sixth edition moves up a category to be included in the ProSeries for the first time in its history.
Route
It is a short race, 116 km long, although the course accumulates 2100 meters of positive elevation gain. The new finale, located at the top of the climb to Arrate (4.1 km at 10.5%), will be where the winner of the race will be decided.
Favorites
Ane Santesteban (600), Floortje Mackaij (400), Tamara Dronova-Balabolina (800), Krista Doebel-Hickok (200), Henrietta Christie (200), Olivia Baril (600), Mireia Benito (200), and Karolina Perekitko (200) are some of the most notable cyclists on the starting list.
