Europe is looking for new CX champions
This weekend, the UEC European Cyclo-cross Championships are taking place in Pont-Château, France. A town with just over 11,000 inhabitants but with a lot of experience in cyclo-cross, as the circuit has hosted top-level races since 1978. The winners this weekend will be the wearers of the star-studded jerseys that will credential them as continental champions in the discipline for the next 365 days, making it one of the most significant dates of the season for Europe's top specialists.
Circuit
The circuit measures 3000 meters with just 300 meters of asphalt and a positive elevation of 100 meters per lap. In addition, it also includes 3 stair sections, so the cyclists will have to constantly dismount and remount their bikes.
