Huy's day

0.8 km at 12.5%. Said like that it doesn't seem like a big deal, but nevertheless the Mur de Huy is one of the great cycling temples of the world. Huy is the flagship of La Flèche Wallone, as the finish line is located right at the top of the climb. In this edition, the cyclists will have to climb it three times in the men's event, as they will do two complete laps of a circuit that also includes Côte d'Ereffe (1 km at 4.4%) and Côte du Chemin des Gueuses (1.9 km at 6.2%). The women will go around the circuit once and therefore they will climb the Mur de Huy twice.

All the great specialists in the Ardennes classics are on the startlist, puncheurs who perform well on short but hard climbs, which in the Flèche Wallonne is especially relevant, since in recent years the victory has been decided on the final climb.
