The race begins with a 10 km individual time trial, followed by 5 stages with undulating routes, without major climbs but also without long flat sections, as is customary in the race. Jonas Vingegaard (1200), Remco Evenepoel (1200), and Primož Roglič (1200) are the three top favorites for the general classification, as the time trial on the first day favors specialists in the discipline. Brandon McNulty (800), Juan Ayuso (1000), Mattias Skjelmose (1000), Carlos Rodriguez (1000), or Adam Yates (1000) are other interesting contenders.
