Navarra heats up ahead of Itzulia Women
The Navarra Women’s Elite Classic is a one-day race of category 1.Pro, established in 2021. Due to both its geographical location and its place on the calendar, the race takes advantage of the momentum from the Itzulia Women—which starts two days later and is part of the Women’s WorldTour—to attract several top-level teams and riders.
Route
The race features a mid-mountain route of 134 km and 1,840 meters of elevation gain, identical to previous editions. The 9 categorized “walls” along the route shape the race, which is usually decided by a solo attack or a reduced sprint.
