ProSeries are decided in Malaysia

The Petronas Le Tour of Langkawi, in Malaysia, is the last stage race of the men's UCI ProSeries, the second division of world cycling. In Cycling Fantasy, this makes it a decisive race for the .Pro Men combined classification, since in 8 stages many points are distributed. After the composition of teams for Langkawi, only the Japan Cup remains to be played, and as it is a single-day race, it has a much lower weight in the annual classification.

Route

Of the 8 stages that make up the 2022 Tour of Langkawi, 5 present flat profiles that will presumably be solved on bunch sprits (stages 2, 4, 5, 6 and 8). The first stage, although it is also mostly flat, includes two climbs in the last 30 kilometres, Bulkit Hantu (2.7 km at 6.1%) and Look Out Point (4.2 km at 4.1%), where the adventurers can try to break the peloton.

The general classification, for its part, will be decided in the two mountain stages of the race: stage 3 ends in a climb in two acts: Gohtong Jaya (13.7 km at 5.9%) and Genting Highlands (8 .6 km at 8.5%), while stage 7 ends with the ascent to Gunung Raya (13.3 km at 6%), on the island of Langkawi.
