Snow Cycling
This Sunday, one of the most spectacular races of the Cyclocross World Cup takes place, as it's snow time in Val di Sole. For the third consecutive season, the only race of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup held in Italian territory will be in the alpine valley of Val di Sole, where a snow-covered circuit will once again provide us with unusual images and a different challenge for the cyclists.
On the other hand, it's worth noting that the inclusion of this snow race in the World Cup is a strategic move by the UCI, as it opens the door to the incorporation of cyclocross as a discipline in the Winter Olympic Games.
Women's Race Favorites
Anything other than a victory for Puck Pieterse (1200) or Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado (1000) would be a big surprise. Other notable cyclists vying for top positions include Sara Casasola (400), Manon Bakker (800), or Maghalie Rochette (600).
Men's Race Favorites
Eli Iserbyt (1200), Michael Vanthourenthout (1200), Laurens Sweeck (1200), Joris Nieuwenhuis (600), and Cameron Mason (400) are the main favorites for the men's race.
