Stuttgart completes a super Sunday

This Sunday sees the final stage of the Vuelta ciclista a España, along with several one-day races: the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal, the GP de Fourmies / La Voix du Nord, and La Choralis Fourmies Féminine. In addition, it is also the day when the Women's Cycling Grand Prix Stuttgart & Region takes place. The German race, classified 1.Pro, rounds off a perfect Sunday for cycling fans to stay glued to the couch.

 
Course

The route is predominantly flat, covering 124 km between Filderstadt and Stuttgart, though the final circuit features a 500-meter climb at 5.7%, with 250 meters at 8%. The riders must complete two and a half laps of this 9.5 km circuit.

 
Favorites

Eleonora Gasparrini (400), Katarzyna Niewiadoma (1000), Chiara Consonni (800), Eline Jansen (200), Silvia Persico (600), Christina Schweinberger (600), Yara Kastelijn (1000), Clara Copponi (200), Ricarda Bauernfield (600), Soraya Paladin (600), Justine Ghekiere (600), and Karlijn Swinkels (800) are among the main favorites.

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen where Movistar Team riders Liane Lippert (1000), Cat Ferguson (200), and Claire Steels (200) will compete, as their names appear both on the provisional start list for the Women's Cycling Grand Prix Stuttgart & Region and for La Choralis Fourmies Féminine.
