The last Belgian 1.Pro race
The 2022 road cycling season is winding down, and in Cycling Fantasy, some of the combined rankings are closing. This is the case of the Belgium 1.Pro classification, which has been held this year for the first time in the game and which brings together all the Belgian one-day races of the second division of world cycling (1.Pro). The Primus Classic will be the last of those races, and will decide who takes the fist ever 10 Atomium trophies.
Route
The 2022 Primus Classic features a typically Belgian route of 200 km and 1,888 meters of vertical gain, with various short climbs and some cobbled sections in the second half of the race. The last 30 kilometres, however, do not involve major difficulties and may lead to a regrouping of the peloton.
Favorites
We must look for the main favorites among resistant sprinters like Alexander Kristoff (800), Arnaud Demare (1000), Jasper Philipsen (1200), Arnaud De Lie (200) or Bryan Coquard (600), since the profile is not completely flat and purer sprinters like Dylan Groenewegen (400) or Fabio Jakobsen (800) can be cut in the climbs. Classics specialists such as Greg Van Avermaet (400), Dries De Bondt (200, Taco Van Der Hoorn (200) or Sep Vanmarcke (200) may have their options if they go on the attack.
