The last jerseys in play
The AJ Bell Women's Tour (official name of the Women's Tour of Britain), will be the last stage race of the year to be held in Cycling Fantasy. Therefore, the last jerseys of the season are at stake and anyone who has not done their homework to get a badge will have one of the last chances to save the season. Good luck to everyone!
On the schedule planned at the beginning of the season, this race should have been the last of the Women’s WorldTour, but the change of dates of the UCI Women's WorldTour Ronde van Drenthe has made it the penultimate. Still, many riders finish their season in Great Britain.
Route
None of the stages include more than 1000 vertical meters, and we are likely to see a lot of sprints. The 16.7 km individual time trial on the third day is the highlight of the course, and it will surely be decisive for the general classification.
Favorites
As we said, the main favorites for the general classification are time trialists such as Ellen Van Dijk (600), Marlen Reusser (600), Lisa Klein (800) or Juliette Labous (800) and strong riders such as Elisa Longo Borghini (1000) , Elizabeth Deignan (1000), Katarzyna Niewiadoma (1000), Demi Vollering (1000) or Elise Chabbey (800).
However, sprinters who can manage to make good time trials such as Lorena Wiebes (1200), Lotte Kopecky (1000) Amy Pieters (1000), Alice Barnes (600) or the recently crowned world champion Elisa Balsamo (800) can have their chances. Also, they will have the opportunity to score strongly in the sprint stages.
