The last of the ProSeries

Grand Prix de Morbihan will be the last of the 45 races that have made up the exciting 2021 men’s ProSeries, the first in the history of Cycling Fantasy. Despite all the races held, the annual classification is still very tight, which makes the race decisive for the 10 trophy positions.

As for the race itself, last year it was not contested, so this year it debuts under the name of Grand Prix de Morbihan after years under the names of Grand Prix du Plumelec-Morbihan and À Travers le Morbihan. The event is part of the Coupe de France, and riders from French teams often perform well.

Route

176 kilometers with 1926 vertical meters are the numbers of the race, which after a bigger loop will be decided on the 6 laps in the final 14-kilometer circuit. The circuit includes several small climbs, but unfortunately there is no detailed information available on the lengths and percentages.

Favorites

The 2019 winner Benoît Cosnefroy (400) is one of the main favorites, although it is unknown if he will be fully recovered from the crash suffered at Il Lombardia. His main rivals can be riders like Amaury Capiot (400), Guillaume Martin (800), Valentin Madouas (200) or Piet Allegaert (400). If they don’t loose contact on the climbs, sprinters like Arvid De Klein (400), Bryan Coquard (600) or Niccolò Bonifazio (400) may have their chances to get a win.
