The ProSeries continue in Italy

Part of the cyclists who contested the Trofeo Laigueglia last Wednesday will meet again this Sunday at the GP Industria & Artigianato, another ProSeries classic in Italian territory.

Route

The 198-kilometer course bears similarities to Wednesday's race. It also includes 4 laps to a circuit, which in this case has the climb to Fornello (3.2 km at 6.1%) as the only difficulty.

Favorites

More similarities between the two races: looking at the winners list, we see that riders with punch also tend to win the GP Industria & Artigianato: Simon Clarke (400) (2016), Adam Yates (1000) (2017) Matej Mohorič (400) (2018) and Maximilian Schachmann (1000) (2019) are the last 4 winners.

Looking at the starting list, it has lost a bit of quality compared to Wednesday's, but the main candidates for victory are once again the Trek-Segafredo men Giulio Ciccone (400), Vincenzo Nibali (800) and Bauke Mollema (600). Some alternatives can be Andrea Bagiloli (400), James Knox (600) or Matej Mohorič (400). Attention to Italian continental teams, which tend to do well in these races.
