The race for the UWT laurels begins in the UAE Tour

The UAE Tour will be the first UCI World Tour men's competition of 2021, and therefore the first to score for Cycling Fantasy's most coveted trophy — the annual laurel crown.

Prizzes
Also, we are very happy to announce that it will be the first race to award the winner with a gift. Thanks to the collaboration of the Movistar Team, we will have a team jersey signed by several riders for the winner on the UAE Tour. We will also distribute RAW product packs for stage winners, and 226ers product packs for winners of the sprint and youth secondary rankings. Check all the details of the prizes in the sponsors' files that you will find in the competition tab. Follow our social networks Instagram, Twitter and Facebook to be up to date with all the prizes.

Profiles
Regarding the profiles of the seven stages, 4 are absolutely flat and two will be for climbers, with the usual finishes in the mountains of Jebel Hafeet and Jebel Jais. Finally, for this 2021 edition, the organization of the race has incorporated an individual time trial in the second stage.

Favorites
Among the favorites to the general classification we find the 2020 UAE Tour winner, Adam Yates (1000) and the 2020 Tour de France winner, Tadej Pogačar (1200). Along with them, the main names for GC are Vincenzo Nibali (800), João Almeida (800), Sergio Higuita (600), Sepp Kuss (600), Alexey Lutsenko (600), Wout Poels (600), Emanuel Buchmann (600), Patrick Konrad (600) and Rigoberto Uran (400).

For the 4 fast arrivals, the list of sprinters includes many of the best specialists in the world: Pascal Ackermann (1200), Caleb Ewan (1200), Fernando Gaviria (1000), Sam Bennet (1200), Elia Viviani (1000), Jasper Philipsen (1000), Giacomo Nizzolo (600) and Cees Bol (600) will take the start.

Finally, for the time trial, Filippo Ganna (800) starts as the only favorite, as his superiority in the specialty is overwhelming. Anything other than a victory for the Italian would be a surprise.
