The WWT visits Norway

The Ladies Tour of Norway has been held since 2014, and since 2017 it has been part of the Women’s WorldTour, which positions it as the most important women's race in the Nordic countries.

Route

Three out of the four stages respond to the classic Ladies Tour of Norway stage profiles, and can finish in bunch sprints, while the great novelty in this year's route is the ascent to Norefjell (10.5 km at 5.9%) on the third day. In previous editions, the Ladies Tour of Norway did not include mountain stages, so this climb will undoubtedly change the kind of riders who can compete in the general classification.

Favorites

Annemiek van Vleuten (1200) starts as the main candidate for victory, as she has shown great form in the last few races and she is the best climber on the startlist. Other good climbers are Marta Cavalli (800), Niamh Fisher-Black (600), Juliette Labous (800), Cecile Uttrup Ludwig (1000), Liane Lippert (800), Lucy Kennedy (400) or Mavi García (600).

For her part, Marianne Vos (1200) has won three out of the six editions of the race that have been contested, but the climb to Norefjell practically discards her from the fight for the GC, and will surely focus on stage victories in the three flat stages. Other riders who will contest the sprints are Lotte Kopecky (1000), Emma Norsgaard (1000), Lucinda Brand (1000), Chloe Hosking (800), Coryn Rivera (800), Emilia Fahlin (600) or Alice Barnes (600), to mention some.
