Time for the Coppa Sabatini
As we mentioned in the article dedicated to the GP Industria & Artigianato, the autumn season of Italian classics is already underway. In this context comes the Gran Premio città di Peccioli - Coppa Sabatini on Thursday, the next ProSeries event in the long list of one-day races held in the north of the country over the coming month.
Route
The race features a hilly route very similar to previous editions, with 2800 meters of elevation over 198 km. The race mainly unfolds through multiple laps on two circuits around the town of Peccioli, where the uphill finish line is located.
Favorites
Two days before the race, no provisional start list has yet been published, making it impossible to name favorites. However, the 1.1 race held the day before, the Giro della Toscana, usually shares a large part of the start list and can be a good indicator of riders’ form. It may be worth looking at those results to build our team for the Gran Premio città di Peccioli - Coppa Sabatini.
