Women's ProSeries continue in Luxembourg

The Ceratizit Festival Elsy Jacobs will be the first women's stage race to be part of the 2022 ProSeries, so it will be important for this classification in Cycling Fantasy. The race, which was first held in 2008, pays tribute to Elsy Jacobs, a Luxembourg cyclist who won the first women's world championship in 1958. The same year, Jacobs also set the hour record, which would not be broken until 24 years later.

Route

The route is similar to that of the last editions, with a 2.15 km time trial prologue and two stages that take place on circuits that include some hills but not big climbs, in what is an ideal route for rouleurs.

Favorites

With only 4 days to go before the start of the race, the start list is still at a very early stage. At the moment, SD Worx riders Christine Majerus (800), Chantal Blaak (600), Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio (1,000), Niamh Fisher-Black (800) and Loneke Uneken (400) stand out. Chiara Consonni (600), Marta Bastianelli (800), Sofia Bertizzolo (600), Anna Henderson (400) and Lisa Klein (800) are other top cyclists present on the provisional startlist.
