The French region of Brittany hosts two events included in the men's ProSeries this weekend. Grand Prix of Morbihan: the favorites
Pascal Ackermann (1000), Alexander Kristoff (1000) and Bryan Coquard (800) start as the main favorites, as their WorldTour-class teams may want to control the race to ensure a bunch sprint. Others who would love a sprint are Nacer Bouhanni (400), Kristoffer Halvorsen (400), Arnaud De Lie (200), Jason Tesson (200), Marc Sarreau (200), Pierre Barbier (200) or Lorrenzo Manzin (200). On the other hand, riders such as Amaury Capiot (600), Victor Campenaerts (400), Stan Dewulf (400) or Clement Venturini (400) will have to go on the attack if they want to win.
Tro-Bro Léon: the route
For its part, Tro-Bro Léon is a spectacular race with its own personality, since the dirt sections and unpaved rural roads make it fully deserving of the nickname "little Paris-Roubaix". On this occasion the cyclists must overcome 29 unpaved sectors.
Tro-Bro Léon: the favorites
We’ll have to look for the favorites among classics riders and men who perform well on the pavés. 2021 winner Connor Swift (200), Maximilian Walscheid (400), Anthony Turgis (400), Amaury Capiot (600), Piet Allegaert (400), Adrien Petit (200) and Evaldas Siskevicius (200) are among the riders best suited for the race. However, we’ll have to be attentive to the starting list, since there are still many teams to confirm their lineups.
