Race analysis, favourites, and predictions for PostNord Tour of Denmark 2025

Unlike most stage races, where the GC is reserved for climbers, the PostNord Tour of Denmark offers a great opportunity for rouleurs and puncheurs to add an overall win to their palmarès. Recent winners include riders like Arnaud De Lie (800) (2024), Mads Pedersen (1200) (2023), and Christophe Laporte (400) (2022), which says a lot about the type of rider who usually triumphs here.

 
Route

As mentioned, the race has no mountain stages, though there is a completely flat 14 km individual time trial on day three. The remaining days feature classic-style profiles with circuit finishes. The first two stages are flatter and better suited to sprinters, while the circuits of the final two days include short climbs and are better for classics riders.
