Race analysis, favourites, and predictions for Prudential RideLondon - Surrey Classic 2019

While it is true that the Prudential Ride London-Surrey Classic is not 100% flat (1600 meters of poitive high), the route does not pose greater difficulties than 6 climbs to Box Hill, a hill of 3.2 km at 4%. So, we arelooking forward a one day classic ideal for sprinters, as confirmed by a list full of fast men.

After his magnificent Tour de France, perhaps Caleb Ewan (1200) starts as a main favorite, in a startlist with many sprinters: Sam Bennet (1200), Elia Viviani (1200), Arnaud Demare (1200), Michael Matthews (1200), Giacomo Nizzolo (1000), Alexander Kristoff (1000), Phil Bauhaus (800), Sonny Colbrelli (800), Ivan García Cortina (800), Jean Peirre Drucker (600), Kristoffer Halvorsen (600), Clement Venturini (600), Mike Teunissen (600), Jasper Philipsen (600), Davide Cimolai (600), Niccolò Bonifazio (400) Jens Debuschere (400), Matteo Moschetti (400), Edward Theuns (400) and Tom Van Asbroeck (400), among others.

Apart from them, there may be some riders who could try something on their own. Cyclists like Zdenek Stybar (800), Maximilian Schachmann (1200) or **Sep Vanmarcke (400)**come to mind, although their chances are few watching the roster of sprinters.
