Johan Museeuw was perhaps the biggest star of Mapei, the dominant team in the cobblestone classics during the 1990s and 2000s, which is the origin of the current Soudal - Quickstep team. Winner of 3 editions of the Ronde Van Vlaanderen and 3 more of the Paris-Roubaix, Museeuw was also the world champion in 1996 and a two-time national champion in 1992 and 1996.
