Faema team existed between 1955 and 1962. The team's main sponsor was espresso maker Faema. Of Italian origin, it also competes with Belgian and later Spanish licenses. Former rider Learco Guerra is the first team manager. It was under his leadership that Belgian Rik Van Looy achieved his main successes. In six years, he won all five monuments, twice Gand-Wevelgem, two Paris-Brussels, Paris-Tours (1959) and twice the world road championship. During its existence, the team dominated the international peloton and won the 1956 Giro d'Italia with Charly Gaul.

Not to be confused with Eddy Merckx's team, also called Faema, which existed in the late sixties.
