Soudal–Quick-Step, formerly known as Quick Step–Alpha Vinyl, Deceuninck–Quick-Step, Omega Pharma–Quick-Step, and Etixx–Quick-Step, among others, is a Belgian professional cycling team with UCI WorldTeam status.
It was founded in 2003 as the successor to the historic Mapei team, led by Patrick Lefevere. Quick Step had already been a co-sponsor of Mapei in its final years and has sponsored the team continuously since its inception. Quick Step is a Belgian company dedicated to the manufacture of laminate flooring.
The team has always stood out for its high level in the Spring Classics and other one-day races held in Flanders, Wallonia, or northern France.
