UAE Team Emirates is a professional team from the United Arab Emirates, formerly known as Italian-licensed Lampre-Merida.
The Lampre team was created, in its current form, in 1999, despite having a background in the team that existed from 1990 to 1996. It is part of the first cycling division since its creation and in 2005 it was integrated into the ProTour, by merging with the Saeco.
In late 2016 it was announced that the team would change its location and traditional name to UAE Abu Dhabi.
