Paolo Bettini was one of the great classics riders of the team Quickstep-Innergetic, who dominated the classics in the early 2000s. Bettini won two Liège-Bastogne-Liège, two Giro di Lombardia, and one Milano-Sanremo. Additionally, the Italian rider was the Olympic champion at the Athens 2004 Games and World Champion twice, in 2006 and 2007.
