The Gewiss-Bianchi team, formerly known as Magniflex, San Giacomo or Sammontana, was an Italian road cycling team that competed between 1973 and 1989. Its main star was Moreno Argentin. Nicknamed Il furbo, Argentin was a professional between 1980 and 1994, during which he achieved 86 victories. It stood out especially in mid-mountain events. He has a brilliant track record in one-day events, especially in events held in central Europe, such as the Liège-Bastogne-Liège or la Flèche Wallonne. He was also World Champion in 1986, and throughout his career he achieved 13 stage victories at the Giro and 2 at the Tour.
